It’s a fairly clear benefit of the collars, as opposed to what is mentioned in this article. However, you should get some help as what seems to be happening with you could be lifelong if you don’t get good, sympathetic advice quickly.

Will Adaptil collars work on a 12 week old. Jack russell puppy. If he can’t see us. His barking an howling just go on on an on. I’m tried everything else. I’m now at my wits end. Sorry. He a very loving puppy, but leave him alone. It’s a night mare. We have wired off the front so he can’t run out into the road, he can still see us. But he starts as he can’t get to us.

Thank you, this is great. I like the way you clarified your method of assessing the studies.
I think I might now try Adaptil for barking for a short time. She’s a very territorial Australian Silky Terrier, as they all are as a breed, and she barks a lot, persistently and for a sustained period of time at almost any living thing she sees out of the window even when we are home and nearby, and I worry about complaints from neighbours. I’ll monitor her behaviour to see if it has any effect.
But I won’t try it for anxiety in the car and will look into the other options you suggest.
