					<description><![CDATA[Thank you so much for this information.   I have a 16 year old son with autism whom I am getting a staffy x bull Arab puppy.  But my daughter who is 5 who has more extreme behavioural issues is really looking forward to her coming as well.  I&#039;ve already had to take our cat to the RSPCA a couple of year ago because her behaviour towards it was too severe and I was just not prepared to have that kind of stress at the time.   I have really had to make sure I am ready before we attempted another animal in the house and my son wasn&#039;t here then either.  I just wanted to say you are so right in saying it is not the animal that makes the difference its having a positive distraction that will encourage them to go out and not have a melt down over their shoes/ clothes/ hair.  And if you are not prepared to have another member of the family it will only become a nightmare that is just not worth it at all.]]></description>
