In reply to <a href="https://www.walkervillevet.com.au/blog/the-puppy-and-dog-breeding-scandal-continues/#comment-201665">Agnes Day</a>.

Hi Agnes. Search on Facebook but if you do find a group stick to facts you can prove in court as these shops often resort to legal action. However I believe that simple consumer law would be on the side of purchasers of sick puppies and so a class action by a group of affected people would be successful in my opinion. I would help where I could.
Using the RSPCA is less likely to be successful until we get clearer rules about pet stores enabling cruelty prosecutions.

Is there a support group and / or lobby group for people who have purchased (unknowingly) sick dogs from a pet shop and who want changes to the law about puppy farms?
Does anyone have suggestions about taking a pet shop to court for supplying a "faulty" dog with diseases and genetic issues? i.e. "not fit for purpose"
