Hi Nola. It sounds about right, but a lot depends on what sort of teeth they are. The only way to really know is to get a second opinion and a second quote.

Hi Penny. Please visit this page for advice on retained deciduous puppy teeth. Bear in mind there is no such thing as a wisdom tooth in dogs.

My 5 month miniature schnauzer puppy has 2 very large wisdom teeth together on the top on each side. So 4 wisdom teeth.

We noticed them together old ones are not budging at all. We felt the outside of her jaw was sticking out bad. So had a look was very suprised.

We are waiting on an appointment with our vet. So worried on how she will go. Someone said try giving her bongela on gums to try sooth the pain.

Is wisdom teeth more complicated to remove and will they remove both sets?
Anything else we should know please would be handy. We have had to wait 2 weeks for our appointment.

I did ring up to book her in for surgery the day we get her checked. Didn't want to wait another week etc for op date.

Thank you

Hi Stephen. It sounds reasonable, but of course one can never be sure without an examination. Even then, only reinspection under anaesthetic will show the true nature of the problem and its cost.

Hi, I am hoping you might advise me on cost of tooth extraction.
Our vet has advised that our Fox Terrier X requires 11 teeth extracted with a price estimate of $1100-$1300.
Do you think this is a reasonable cost or should we receive other estimates?
Thanks
