Welcome to our guide to the best places for dogs in or near Clearview, Adelaide.
Dog Parks in the Region
North Adelaide Dog Park
This dog park should be the logical choice for College Park residents. Located in the parklands between North Adelaide and Robe Terrace, it is bounded by Lefevre, Medindie and Main North Roads. It has two fenced areas: one for for small dogs and puppies, and another for large dogs. The park has quickly become very popular among our clients. The two adjacent parks called Kangattilla and Kandarilla permit off-leash exercise but these areas are unfenced.
Victoria Park is another excellent choice, with its large area well away from the road. Dog water and bins are provided along the path on the western side. For the location of both sites, see this map.
Local Off-leash areas
The nearest off-leash area would be the oval adjacent the billabong in St Peters River Park. Access is via the south side of the linear park path or Harrow Road and Goss Court (St Peters) if going by car. The area is huge and well separated from roads, and has toilets, barbecues, shelters, water etc. Doggy bags are located at the entrances. Perhaps the only problem with the area may be preventing your dog straying onto the bike path.
Dog owners usually meet here from 5:30 pm to let their dogs play.
Adelaide Dog Parks
From College Park you can walk:
West through St Peters College into Botanic Park
North to the River Torrens, then along the path in either direction
East through the beautiful streets of College Park and St Peters.
What a choice!
The Fix is a cafe on the corner of Harrow and Richmond Roads only a short walk from the Torrens path.
There’s a playground on the opposite corner, and they have a water bowl out for dogs.

Possibly the easiest and quickest way to get to us is via Richmond Street, turning right on Hackney Road. Then it’s straight ahead up to North East Road. Our car park is on the left a few streets after the ABC building.
